What is an implant?

Dental implants act as substitutes for teeth that require extraction or teeth that have fallen out. Titanium screws are used as anchors to fix artificial teeth, typically known as a crown, carefully into the gum to provide a strong foundation.

They seamlessly integrate with your teeth, offering the next best thing to your natural pearly whites.

How it works

Your implant is surgically placed into the jawbone and integrates with the surrounding bone material. This integration process can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months after which it is restored with an artificial crown. Implants can be used to provide support for bridges, crowns or dentures.

Replace your missing teeth

Implants are the revolutionary way to secure loose dentures or permanently replace a missing tooth. Ill-fitting dentures can make eating with family and friends difficult. You may also have noticed changes to the contour of your lips, which can make you look older. Dental implants can restore your quality of life and confidence.

Benefits of dental implants

Dental implants restore and improve appearances as they fix unsightly gaps and damaged teeth with beautiful natural-looking teeth while maintaining your bone structure to preserve the natural shape of your face. However, they boast benefits that go beyond mere aesthetics. They are a permanent and comfortable solution as they are fixed into your jawbone so they look like and operate as natural teeth. You will be able to speak, laugh and eat with confidence again.

A dental implant (including crown) costs £2,500, with a temporary implant being priced at £350.

In the case of a bone graft being required to support the implant, this is priced at £350, with the cost of any further work, such as a sinus lift, being variable.
